Lynda Randle
Seamlessly traversing a range of genres, singer/songwriter, author, speaker and television personality Lynda Randle is one of Christian music’s most distinct voices. A familiar face at Gaither Homecoming events and on Homecoming videos through the years, her arrangement of “God On The Mountain” is the most popular video on the Gaither Music TV YouTube Channel with over 88 million views. Garnering a Dove Award for her 2004 album A Tribute To Mahalia Jackson, Randle has had the honor of performing for millions across the globe, and sharing the stage with some of the most influential leaders of this generation, including Rev. Billy Graham, Dr. Tony Evans, Dr. Charles Stanley, and Dr. Robert Schuller. In addition to her debut at the historic Grand Ol’ Opry, Randle has shared the stage at the Prestigious Carnegie Hall with Gospel Music Legend Andre Crouch, and appeared at an event featuring Glady’s Knight. Randle has also had the privilege of singing the National Anthem for The Kansas City Royals baseball team and the NBA All-Star chapel. She has also participated in the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Washington D.C.’s President’s Park.
Randle has had recurring appearances on networks such as Daystar, TBN, RFD, and TCT among others, and Lynda and her brother, dc Talk founding member and Newsboys frontman Michael Tait, headline the popular “Together For Christmas” tour. Randle is also the founder of the annual “A Woman After God’s Own Heart” conference event, a two day gathering for women.
Randle’s acclaimed Pilgrim Journey, a roots-spirituals driven musical anthology debuted in the Top 10 on Apple Music’s Top Christian Albums chart, and features duets with Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman and legendary songwriter, producer and bassist Tommy Sims.
Lynda’s latest project, By The Riverside, is a collection of gospel favorites and originals set to the smooth and steady rhythm of steel guitars, lively strings and laid back tempo of the steel guitar.
A peacemaker at heart and bridge builder between audiences of all ages, race, and ethnicities, Lynda’s message and music is truly cross cultural.
While many may know Lynda as a singer, songwriter, author, and TV personality, her most cherished roles are that of wife to Pastor Michael Randle (Mosaic Bible Fellowship) and forever mother to her two adult daughters, Patience and Joy.
